Computer Center
The Institute has state-of-the-art computer lab for browsing/information sharing and IT-related classes, which enables the students to access to high speed internet round the clock. The centre is equipped with PCs having latest configurations, a variety of peripherals such as high speed network, laser and inkjet printers, DVD writers etc. Besides, it has sophisticated web-based systems that offer continuous interaction between the faculty and students, online testing and submissions, discussion boards and courseware exchanges.
At LIMS, the residential facilities enjoy a magnificent setting in a pollution free eco-friendly environment. The serene environment at the institute provides the much needed balance between natural ambience and modernity. It provides furnished hostel accommodation (Separate hostel for boys and girls) on sharing basis.
The administration of hostel is administered by a faculty member for boys hostel and girls hostel respectively as the Hostel Wardens. The overall charge of student's discipline and hostel administration vests in the Chief Warden. All the hostel rooms are provided with LAN connectivity with 24 hours internet through the main server of the academic block. reading rooms and additional sports facilities like table-tennis rooms, chess and carrom rooms. The hostel is also connected with outdoor sports centers for lawn-tennis, basket-ball, volley-ball and badminton. The hostels are equipped with generators in order to provide 24 hour's electricity supply, water heaters, water freezer etc.There is an upcomming Swimming Pool (under construction) and Gymnasium for students.

Group Learning
Frequent exchange of ideas and information among group members through discussions and presentations is a proven methodology for the development of professional and communication skills.
The Case Method
The case method is used extensively to develop analytical skills critical to business decision-making. The student managers are exposed to the complexities of the highly competitive professional environment under simulated conditions to create a competent race of new generation managers.
Presentation
Presentations are one of the important components of any learning process. Students are motivated to give more and more presentations to improve their communication skill, develop confidence and overall personality.
Regular Assignment
Faculty gives regular assignments which paves them a way to acquire knowledge from different sources. It helps them develop ability to search select, organize & analyze the materials.
Project Work
The project work constitutes a major component. The objective of the project is to help the students in developing their ability to apply theoretical and practical tools/techniques to solve real life problems related to business and research.
Industrial Visit
GIMT students regularly undergo industrial visits. It enables them to interact with the organization and to know about the actual environment, functions and processes.
Seminars/Workshops
Institute conducts various seminars and workshops in which student are encouraged to participate actively. Students visit the organization, meet business leaders and organize the seminars. It develops their confidence, leadership skills and enhance interpersonal skills.
Adventure Tour
Students are taken for adventure tours at different places. These tours are aimed mainly to sharpen the skills of the students. The purpose is to develop a team, who encourage and motivate each other and lead the team.
Cultural programme
The students under the supervision of faculty also organize cultural Programs. Students plan, initiate and perform at different programs, conceived & executed by their own efforts & planning under institutional support & guidance, which eventually aims to sharpen their managerial skills.
PARTICIPATION IN INTER B-SCHOOL COMPETITIONS
Our students are taking part in many inter B-school competitions from time to time. Performances are highly commendable. It gives them a chance to explore the competitive environment, display their skills & competencies and face the challenges. It also enhances the overall development of the students as dynamic leaders and competent performers in simulated situations.
